Rule 34
Prohibited activities in environmental protection areas, open or green areas
: (1) The Government of Nepal may prohibit any of the following activities from being carried out or carried out within the environmental protection areas or open or green areas maintained or designated in accordance with Section 30 of the Act:-
(a) Natural resources” or. To spoil, destroy, demolish, remove, pierce: or in any other way cause damage to an aesthetic condition,
(b) To damage, change, destroy, remove, demolish any place of historical or cultural importance or to paste any poster or other similar document or picture on such place or to do any other kind of damage,
(c) to use electric current (current) or any other kind of harmful chemical substance in any river, stream, waterfall, waterfall, pool, tank, lake or water source,
(d) to alter the genetic make-up of any kind from a domestic animal,
(e) to mine or remove any mineral, stone, soil, gravel, sand or other substance, (f) to operate hotels, lodges, public transport, health posts, schools, cottages or other similar services,
(g) To prevent damage to fences, signs, signals or any other thing installed in the environment protection area,
(h) Any act which adversely affects biological diversity. to do,
(i) To cut, fell, remove, change, uproot any vegetation and to do damage to vegetation.
(2) Regardless of what is written in sub-rule /(1), for the management and development of the environmental protection area, the relevant concerned bodies may carry out the following activities within such area.
